Max Entertainment founder Kenji Orimo discusses the development of FEDA for Nintendo's Super Famicom.[1]
Max Entertainment (株式会社マックス・エンターテインメント, Kabushiki Gaisha Makkusu Entāteinmento) was a game development studio founded by Kenji Orimo in the early 1990s.[1] The company featured crossover staff from Climax Entertainment, including artist Yoshitaka Tamaki and programmer Kan Naito.
Whatever conditions precipitated the formation of Max Entertainment as a distinct entity from Climax are the subject of speculation and in need of research. FEDA, a strategy role-playing game developed by Max for Nintendo's Super Famicom, a competitor to Sega's Mega Drive, is similar in design to the Shining games, a Sega property created by Climax.
